Research
Interests:
My research
focuses on the characterization of a technique which
utilizes transposons to accomplish gene replacement
in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans. The
technique ultimately can be usd as a major tool by C.
elegans researchers in their efforts to elucidate
gene function, with the goal of understanding the
molecular basis of genetically inherited diseases and
the potential development of treatment strategies.
