Golden received a Bachelor's degree in French from Fordham College, a Master's degree in German from Middlebury College, and a Master's and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Cornell University. He has been at Stonehill College since 1988 and was the Language Department Chair from 1992 to 1998. He has made publications and presentations on Flaubert, Kleist, Oedipus Rex, History and Fiction. His present interests include 19th century short fiction in France, Germany, Russia and the United States, development of Language across the Curriculum courses, as well as articulation between secondary and post-secondary Foreign Language curricula. |
