Students gain practical experience in their chosen fields. Some examples of previous internship sites include physician practices, hospitals, urgent care, dental offices, optometry clinics, nursing homes, biotechnology labs, orthopedic surgery, clinical research, occupational therapy, animal hospital, etc. The internship can take place in the fall, spring or summer.
